I’m Paul adams.

photographer | educator | happiness advocate

While I primarily love to work in wedding photography, I cannot limit myself to any particular niche.

I specialize in helping create a positive experience for everyday people through laughter, building confidence, and through intentional communication. Because the more fun you have during a photoshoot, the more you will love your photos.

My interest in photography started
when I was gifted a Sony Cybershot–
3.1 megapixels and 25 years ago…

..but my professional career began in 2015. I moved to Las Vegas and found work as a wedding photographer at a chapel. Through shooting and editing literally thousands of weddings in those 5 years, I learned the importance of quickly creating a connection with clients to help them open up for their wedding photos. Those efforts made a world of difference in the outcome.

It wasn’t until I moved to Denver and started my own photography business that I began to find a deeper seeded passion in this craft that was missing.

I’ve always considered myself a people-person, and I genuinely care about constructing my business engagements with clients in a way that prioritizes having a wonderful experience by encouraging confidence, validation, and self-discovery.

This approach towards photography not only provides the most authentic images of my incredible clients, but also imprints a positive emotion onto their photographs.

Fast forward to now, and this outlook has given me the opportunity to work with beautiful people (inside and out) from around the world, and has allowed me to teach photographers nationwide how to enhance their experiences with clients by creating a meaningful connection.

Other fun facts:

Music is my first love. My mother was an elementary music teacher and instilled that passion at a young age. I went to college for classical piano and audio production, and for years travelled the country in touring bands. I still play regularly, and
even occasionally will be asked to
play weddings for my clients!

My wife is my second and forever love. Being the reason I moved from Vegas to Denver, she has inspired me to chase my dreams and never look back. As a fellow artist who has found success in her own right, since then we have built a life that I would have never dreamed of before. To Alita, you are the reason I am where I am today. I love you eternally.

While I practice jiu jitsu (purple belt gang!) and choke my consenting friends on the mats, I choose to live my life in a way that causes the least amount of harm to other sentient beings. I do this by not eating or wearing animal products. It was a big change later in life, but
reducing demand reduces damage.

bonus bit:

I am a proud pug dad. Meet Frank:

He is loud, dumb, farts when he barks, and the most cuddle-able idiot you could ask for.
